Balloon Care Guide

Please read before taking your balloons home.

All our latex balloons are treated with Hi-Float for extended float time. To get the most out of your arrangement, please follow these simple rules.

TEMPERATURE

Keep balloons between 18-22°C (65-72°F). Heat causes latex to expand and pop; cold shrinks the helium and balloons sink to the floor.

SUMMER WARNING

Float time drops significantly in hot, humid weather — sometimes by 30-50%. Heat, humidity, and sun exposure all shorten balloon life dramatically.

AVOID

- Direct sunlight — UV rays destroy latex within minutes, even through windows. Dark colors (black, blue, purple) pop fastest.

- Air conditioning & fans — direct cold airflow causes condensation and shortens float time.

- Heat sources — radiators, ovens, hot cars. Never leave balloons in a parked vehicle (interior can reach 60°C).

- Rough surfaces — textured walls, ceilings, Christmas trees, sharp furniture edges.

- Pets and small children — claws, teeth, and curiosity end the party early.

TRANSPORT

Carry balloons in the cool car cabin, never in the trunk. Don't press them against other objects.

EXPECTED FLOAT TIME (Hi-Float treated)

- Latex balloons: 3-7 days

- Foil balloons: 5-14 days

Reduce by 30-50% in summer conditions.

IMPORTANT

We guarantee balloon quality at the time of delivery. After delivery, balloon longevity and appearance depend on environmental conditions and proper care.
